The CEIP "Our Lady of Health" has extensive experience in using the school library. Started its activities in this field in the early eighties but it will be in 2005-2006 when you experience a major boost to be admitted in the implementation project Reading Plan experimental de Castilla La Mancha.
In this course participates in the national contest of Good Practice for the dynamism and innovation of School Libraries organized by the Ministry of Education and Science and they get a third prize.
From School Library aforementioned course becomes a hallmark of the CEIP "Our Lady of Health."
There is a specific course on Reading Plan Castilla La Mancha, organized by the Centre for Teachers of Illescas, in September of the academic year 2006-2007 addressed the faculty and parents who volunteered to attend.
Later, the Teachers' Centre, at the request of the school, organized a course specifically on the Abies program, led this time to parents to provide them with training to enable them to collaborate with the school library library loans.

The train of fantasy is an activity that develops in the lower primary. There is a train that is stuck in the lobby of the center. Each car carries the name of a child. On Wednesday afternoon, the children attending the school library accompanied by their parent (usually more common for mothers) and take at least two books, one the child and another mom or dad (usually themed books are children) and at home children accompanied by parents, read the aforementioned books, that fills a form, too simple. This form will be filed on Wednesday following in the child's wagon. At the end of the course the librarian, with all the chips, provides a short reminder of the reading book which is given to each child, along with simple diplomas evidencing reader of the school library.
